Any contagious illness or symptoms

If You Need to Take Medicine at School:
Bring the medicine to the school nurse in its original pharmacy container with your name, medicine name, dose, how/when to take it, and the date.
Get a Medication Consent Form from the nurse. It must be signed by your doctor and your parent/guardian.
Your parent/guardian must bring the signed form and medicine to the nurse.
If the nurse isn’t there, give it to the principal, acting principal, or health aide.
Over-the-counter meds (like pain relievers) must also have a doctor’s prescription and parent/guardian consent to be kept at school.
In rare cases, you can carry emergency medicine (like an inhaler or EpiPen) with you, but you’ll need:
A doctor’s note saying you must keep it with you for safety
Parent/guardian written consent
The nurse’s special form for self-carry approval
If You Have a Medical Condition or Allergy:
Tell the school nurse about any medical condition or health concern you have.
For food, drug, insect, or other allergies, give the nurse your medicine, doctor’s orders, emergency care plan, and parent permission form.
Learn about your allergies at home and never share food with others at school or anywhere else.
If you bring food for a class party, check with your teacher first to make sure it’s safe for everyone.
Mental Health
Our school’s counselors and psychologists support students’ emotional well-being. They offer guidance, coping strategies, and a safe space to talk about personal or academic challenges.
